CROQUET SEASON
INTER-CLUB MATCHES FRANKTON CLUB’S DOUBLE The excessive heat during the summer made the croquet season a trying one but, nevertheless, the matches in the inter-club competitions in Hamilton were keenly contested. The Frankton club again won the A grade series and the club gained a successful double by annexing the B grade title also. Following are the scores made by t-he clubs in the competition during the season:— A grade. —Frankton. 1161 points: Hamilton, 1012 points; Whitiora, 960 points; Claudelands. 807 points. B grade. —Frankton, 1018 points; Frankton Railway, 849 points: Claudelands, 804 points; Whitiora, 792 points: Hamilton, 769 points; St. Paul’s, 337 ’siujod
