The Junior League.
Daar Boys and oirls, I suppose these glorious sunny days make you very happy. Spring Is such a wonderful season. All around us we see new lire coming forth to {reet the sunshine. Not omy are there rees and flower showing new beauty, but on the faiffns everywhere we see tiny animals, lambs and calves. From my window as I write I can see a mother cow fondling her baby, and It Is a beautiful sight. The baby. Just one hour old, is trying his logs; they are very Wobbly, but mother cow is talking to him and IT we r could understand her language I expect wo should hear her urging him to try again. Now children, I want you all to start to work In real earnest. Our animal Welfare Week Is to he from October 3 till

9. We shall have our street stall, and I want our Junior League to make a real big effort, and see what we can do all on our own. Some of you might like to have collecting cards, to collect for our effort; If so, let me know, and I will send you a card. You may have mends who would like to help, and remember every penny Is acceptable. This week I have received a letter rrom a lady who is an Invalid. She Is very sad because she has lately lost her dog from distemper. The dog was a great companion and friend, which she misses very much. She has asked me to try and ilnd her a puppy. I wonder If any or you happen to know of one in need of a good home; If so do please write and tell me. With my love, TINKER BELL.
