BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
BECOND ANNUAL DANCE CAMBRIDGE FUNCTION Proof of the increasing popularity of basketball was apparent when the Cambridge Association organised a dance which drew a large number to the Leamington Hall. The second annual dance of the Association, the function this year was a worthy successor to the inaugural dance last season. Light and dark green, the association’s colours, were effectively used to decorate the hall and supper room, while basketball photographs round the walls introduced an appropriate note. The hostesses were:—Mrs H. Jonasson, wearing a floral and gold lame tunic frock, aiid Mrs J. Keely wearing a gold lame tunic with brown skirt. Members of the ladies’ committee present were:—Mrs A. C. Wallis, wearing black ring velvet; Misses P. Levesque, black velvet; M. Wilkinson, sea-green •crinkle crepe; N. Easter, black lace; M. Henson, floral georgette. Among others present were:—Mesdames F.
