FAREWELL PARTY
FOR MRB O. H. MARCROFT FORMER HAMILTON RESIDENT The meeting room at St. Patrick's Hall. Opunake had been charmingly arranged as a drawing room recently, when Mesdames A. J. Brennan, T. W. Watt. It. Ritchie. P. Dalrymplo, R. J. Morris and E. M. Grlffen were hostesses at. a farewell party In honour of Mrs G. H. Marcroft, (formerly of Hamilton). Large bowls of mixed blooms were arranged about the occasional tables and on palm stands. An amusing competition was won by the guest of honour ami afternoon tea was served by the hostesses. In presentinn a posy of violets to Mrs Marcroft, Mrs Brennan expressed regret fit her departure from Opunake and wist - ed her every happiness in her future home. Mrs Marcroft suitably responded.
