NAVAL DISCIPLINE.
TROUBLE ON H.M.S. WARSPITE REPORT OF THE COURT DISMISSALS FROM SERVICE (Official Wireless.) (Received August 26, 2.15 p.m.) RUGBY, August 25 The report of the Court of Inquiry into the misunderstanding which arose in June last with reference to weekend leave in the Warspite, indicates that I lie discipline of certain ratings on that ocoaslon was unsatisfactory. It also shows that the handling of the situation was not entirely satisfactory. The Admiralty has issued orders for the removal of ratings numbering not more than nine or ten, from that ship to other ships. It also has given instructions for two or three men to be discharged, from the navy, their services being no longer required. Further, the Admiralty has decided it necessary to relieve from their appointments three of the officers of the ■ship. The discipline on the Warspite is now entirely satisfactory.
