FATHER’S MISTAKE.

WRONG NAME GIVEN, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANG AREI, Friday. An unusual situation wherein a father identified the body of his son but gave the wrong name, a warrant for burial being issued by the coroner under the wrong title, was disclosed at t lie adjourned inquest into the death of Angus Colin McLean, who died following a football match at Mareretu on July 31. The body was identified as that of Colin John whereas actually the name was Angus Colin. It was shown yesterday that the deceased was always known as Colin and the coroner said the father’s mistake was quite understandable under the circumstances.
