FAREWELL FUNCTION.

FOR MISS G. GIFFORD. DINNER AND PICTURE PARTY. Mrs K. Lee Martin and Miss Betty Lambert were hostesses at a very happy farewell dinner party for Miss Gwen Gifford, who will leave for Melbourne on September 2, at H. and J. Court’s rooms recently. At the function a small presentation was made to the guest of honour, and a picture party followed. Mrs Lee Martin was wearing a frock of dusty pink crepe Leger, and Miss Lambert wore bottle green cotelle relieved with gold. Miss Gifford was wearing a frock of bottle green flowe’red crepe Glamis. The tables were most attractive with Iceland popples and spring flowers. The guests were Misses Lily Jones, Elizabeth Davison, Esther Baird and Roma Parker.
