KEREONE-KI WITAHI CLUB SUCCESSFUL YEAR REVIEWED (Special to Times) WAITOA, Thursday. The Kereone-Kiwitahl Tennis Club held Its annual meeting recently In the local hall. Mr D. Reid presided over a large attendance. During the year, stated the report, the club acquired the land on which Its courts were situated and the prospects for the coming season were bright, about 5 0 members having Joined. The report and balance-sheet, which showed a credit or £4 2, were adopted. Miss (’,. Nicholls and Mr L. P. Nicholls. who had been associated with the rlul> since its Inception l<> years ago and were the Joint secretaries last sea-mu. tendered their resignations as thev had left the district. They were elected honorary members. The election or officers resulted as follow: President, Mr D Reid; vice-presi-dents. Messrs. K. Moyes, C. P. Davenv. It. tlyndman. M. Appleton, r,. Fromm. 1.. l>.
