Middlesex won by 71 runs. Yorkshire v. Surrey.—Yorkshire, first innings, 463 (Hutton 73, Leyland 77, Yardley 101). Surrey, first" innings, 273 (Fishlock 113). Following on, they lost 6 for 295 (Fishlock 10'5, Gregory 109). Yorkshire won on the first innings. Somersetshire v. Sussex.—Somersetshire. first innings. 411 OCameron 113, Meyer 125) : second innings, 6 for 188 deolared. Sussex, first innings, 401 (J. Parks 112); second innings, 3 for 9. Somersetshire won on the first innings. Leicestershire v. Glamorganshire.— Leicestershire, first innings, 152 (Clay 6 for 66); second innings, 217 (Mathews 5 for 38). Glamorganshire, first innings, 350 (E. Davies 88): second innings, 1 for 20. Glamorganshire won by nine wickets. Essex v. Nottinghamshire.—Essex, first innings, 436 (Nichols 79.
