Henderson, secretary of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union, lias received a letter from Ihe New Zealand Rugby Union transmitting a request by the Springboks that no functions of any kind should be arranged for their enicrlaimiuqil while Ihe learn is in Rotorua between September 19 and September 21, prior lo I heir departure for Auckland to train for the. third test, The Springboks slated that they wished to spend Ihe time entirely in sight-seeing. The New Zealand Union also officially confirmed the fact that there is no prospect of a game being arranged while the visitors are in Rotorua?.
