The French racehorse Gene Tout will be absent from the Warwick Farm meeting on Saturday. He was again very lame after trotting a short distance at Randwick. Talking, in a private trial at Rosebery, ran six furlongs in 1.154 on the centre of the course. Gold Rod, Disalto, Mala. The Chanter and Ajax provided most interest at Randwick. All put up good performances.
