(Received August 25, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 24 The Nottingham Cricket Club has passed a resolution suspending H. Larwoood for the remainder of the season on “account of a breach of discipline.’* The chairman of the club declined to give any details. Larwood says that after receiving treatment for an injury, he was told to report for practice, but was unable to go. : He went to the ground on August 21 to report fit and he anticipated that he would be selected to play, but his name was not on the team sheet. Larwood was injured when a car, in which he was a passenger, overturned on the Northampton-Towces-ter road on July 22. He received a strained shoulder and a lacerated hand and was unable to play in the Notts v. Northauls match, which at the time had been in progress a day.
