BUOOEBB OF ITALIANS FILL FIRST THREE PLACES NEW ZEALANDER FOURTH (Times Cable.) LONDON, August 23 The result of the air race from Paris to Damascus and back was as follows: — Gupini and Baradisi, 17 hours 32 minutes 45 seconds, average speed 352 i kilometres an hour, 1; Fiori and Lucchinl, 17 hours 57 minutes 2 seconds, 2; Biseo and Mussolini, 18 hours 3 minutes 37 seconds, 3. Flying-Ofllcer A. E. Clouston, formerly of New Zealand, finished in fourth place.
