WEDDING

OHRIBT/'.FFERBEN —MOORE. The marriage was solemnised at St. George's Church, Frankton, on ths evening of August 18, between Constance Emily, second daughter of Mr and Mrs E. C. Moore (Homestall), Te ißapa, and George Je'nsen, eldest son of Mr and Mrs 'Christ«.ffersen, of Dannevirke. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. J. Boyt, and Mr,. K. Alp presided at the' organ. The church was beautifully arranged with spring flowers and greenery.

The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a charming gown of magnolia sylvox satin, fashioned on slender lines, the graceful skirt falling to form a long train. The bodice featured a cowl neckline finished with tiny buttons at the back, and he'r beautiful embroidered veil was caught to the head with a halo of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white camellias, stock, lily-of-the-valley and maidenhair fern. Miss Phillys Giles (cousin of the bride) was the bridesmaid and wore a frock of pink satin cut on slender lines with basque effect at the waistline, and puff sleeves. She wore a halo of pink tulle and tiny rosebuds and carried a bouquet of pink daphne, cream and white freezias, and asparagus fern. Mr Ray Moore (brother of the

bride) was best man. After the ce’remony a reception was held at the Wattle rooms, which looked most, attractive with bowls of pink and white flowers. The bride’s mother received the' guests wearing a navy tailored costume, fox fur and accessories to tone, and carried a posy in autumn tints. When Mr and Mrs G. J. Christ-.ffer-sen left by car for the honeymoon the bride travelled wearing a brown tailored suit, fox fur and accessories tf> tone.

They will make their home In Kopurakl.

Windsor (Tamahere), Mr and Mrs H. Moreland (Newstead), Mr and Mrs ,T. Moreland (Te Rapa), Mr and Mrs G. Grabb, Mr and Mrs W. McDonald, Mr and Mrs J. Rogerson, Mr F. Beet (Pirongia), Mr and Mrs Jensen (Rotorua), Mr and Mrs Forbes (Manurf.wa), Mr and Mrs B. Moreland (Cambridge).

After the reception Mr and Mrs Moore gave a most enjoyable dance for about two hundred guests, In St. George’s Hall, and a very happy time was spent.
