DIPHTHERIA CAMPAIGN.
EXTENSION TO COUNTRY. PROGRAMME COMPLETED. The campaign against the ravages of diphtheria, organised by the health authorities in Hamilton some time ago, is now being extended to the country districts. Last week the Tirau and Okoroire areas were covered, and generally the response to the plan has -been very gratifying, said Dr. H. B. Turbott, Medical Health Officer in Hamilton, to-day. A programme, which the authorities hope to work through by November 5, has been drawn tip covering a wide area.
