MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. The North Island gun club championships were continued at Morrinsviiie to-day in overcast weather. Results of to-day's championship shoot is as follows: North Island Live Pigeon Championship, of 17 birds at a 28 yards rise.— D. P. North (Whangarei) and W. G. Rao (Tauranga), both shot the possible and divided first money. In the shoot-olf of five birds North again killed the possible and Rae missed gne bird. The title was thus annexed by North. R. E. Cuthbertson (Wanganui), R. Farrow (Waihou), M. Pratt (Otorohanga), E. Groom (Taihape), and D. Ewing (Auckland) each lost one bird and divided, the third and fourth money. CRITICALLY ILL BRIGADIER-GENERAL CROZIER LONDON, August 23. Brigadier-General Crozier, whose book “ The Men I Killed,” has aroused the resentment of ex-soldiers, has been seriously ill for a month, and his condition is now critical.
