SOCIAL EVENING.
HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS. “ OLYMPIC GAMES.” A very happy social evening was held in the Centreway Rooms last ! evening by tlie Hamilton High School j Old Girls’ Association, when there I was a large number present. A gay spirit prevailed, the evening taking the form of an “'Olympic Games,” competitive games being played with much enjoyment. Lovely massed howls of Iceland poppies in vivid shades, spring flowers and greenery decorated the rooms most effectively. The guests were received by the vice-president, Mrs A. , Pringle Nelson, wearing a tunic frock |of black flowered crepe faille with lame collar. fc 1 Later in the evening a delicious supper was served. Among those present were:—Misses Edna Bennett, Phyllis Seccombe. Joan Campbell, Dot Clegg. Isie Pratt (Auckland), M. Hare, Edna Hare (Auckland), Lorna Clarke, Dorothy Bateman, Joan Henderson, Dorothy Robertson, Meryl Choat, Marjorie Tati ley, Dawn Rogerson. Helen Brown, Helen Baker, Gail Burtenshaw. Beth Muir. Audrey Seddon, Enid Gillman. M. Carter, Nancy Newell, Beryl Waters, Patty Wycherley, Maida Thompson, Bubbles Robinson.
