TE AWAMUTU NEWS.
MUSICAL EVENING. Mrs Trevor Nicholson held a most enjoyable musical evening at her residence in Frontier Road, Te Awamutu, on’ Saturday. During the evening Items were given by Mrs Webber, Mrs H. Steer, Mrs T. Nicholson, Mrs J. Tailby, Mrs L. Young, Mr Parker, Mr Whitar and Mr 11. Walker, and were warmly enjoyed by the guests. A competition was won toy Mrs Cutforth and Mr L. Mather. The rooms had been beautifully decorated with daffodils and Iceland poppiesMrs Nicholson received the guests wearing a frock of blue taffeta. Among those present were:—Mesdames 11. Tailby, T. Wyllle, Whitar, H. Steer, H. Parker, K. Walker, L. Young, H. J. Webber, Blanchfleld (Auckland), H. Andrew, H. Wing, L. Nicholson, W. Locke, L. Spence, Tims, Cutforth, L. Mather, F. Waters, Hodson (Edgecombe).
