SCHOOL CONTESTS.
TAMAHERE V. RUKUHIA. The Tamahere School football and basketball teams travelled to Rukuhla reoently to play matches against the local school teams. At basketball the Rukuhla team defeated Tamahere by 24 to 12, lnit the football match resulted in a win for Tamahere by 27 to 0. The scoring was done by B. Watt, J. Powell and D. Banks.
