OBITUARY.
THE REV. W. TROTTER. The death has occurred at St. Leonard’s, Dunedin, of the Rev. William Trotter, a well-known minister of the Presbyterian Church, who had lived for the last 30 years in New Zealand. MR. HENRY BUTTLE. The death has occurred at Christchurch of Mr. Henry Buttle, aged 89 years, the last surviving son of the Rev. George Buttle, one of the pioneer missionaries of the Methodist Church in New Zealand. Mr. Buttle was born In 18 48 at the Waipa Wesleyan Mission Station, where his father was in charge for many years. MR. DANIEL MURPHY. The death occurred in Auckland on Saturday of Mr. Daniel Murphy, aged 84. Until some mnnihs ago Mr. Murphy had been a resident of Hamilton, having lived in the town for over 60 years. He was born in County Louth, Ireland, and came to Auckland in 1 874. but shortly afterwards settled in Hamilton, where lie was engaged in farming for many years. Five daughters and one son survive him. There are 15 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. THE LATE MR. E. J. BOUCHER. The funeral of the late Mr. E. J. Boucher took place at the Pukerimu Cemetery before a large gathering of friends and neighbours. The service was conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Francis, curate of Cambridge Anglican Church. The pallbearers were Messrs. A. Cowley, sen., •T. n. Graham. F. Cunningham and A. E. McDonald.
