HAPPY BARN DANCE.
MANY VIBITORB PRESENT. The barn situated on Mr McGee’s property, at Ngarua, and kindly lent for the occasion, was packed recently when an old time and modern dance evening was held. Visitors were present frorrf Waltoa, Springdale, Walton, Manawaru, and a large representative attendance of district residents. Music was played by Messrs J. Hannah and T. Holmes (accordions'), and a novelty dance was Avon by Miss Noeline Feaver and Mr J,. Hannah. In a number competition Mrs T. Hickey and Mr D. Wykes were the winners, i During the supper interval Mr G. 1 Reid, the M.G., thanked everybody for their attendance on ’behalf of the Social Club.
