DUNEDIN TO MAORI- SONG The Pakur&nga Hunt Club, favoured by good weather and excellent fields, had a record meeting at Ellerslle on Saturday, when the annual fixture attracted a largo crowd of patrons. Duncan, rider or Hlrangl in the Ladles’ Bracelet, was questioned re gardtng his mount crossing the field as they went out of the straight, and hia ex planatlon was accepted. Th* Totallsator. The totallsator handled £34,662 10s, compared with £18,102 10s last year, an increase of £16,560. The turnover la9t year was affected by the fact that the meeting was postponed on account of rain from Saturday until Wednesday, which also proved wet.
