Sellars, the Yorkshire captain, has accepted the challenge from R. W. V. Robins, the Middlesex captain for a four days challenge match after the championship has been decided.
He wired Robins: "challenge accepted ten pound a man choose your ground," and Robins says that the Oval is probably the best ground. The mat oh will probably begin on October 11. Middlesex and Yorkshire at present are running neck and neck in an exciting race for the championship. ißobins explained that be issued the challenge because Middlesex played fewer matches than Yorkshire, a team which Middlesex was lucky to beat at Lords as it was favoured by the weather.
