OLELAND—PARFITT. The engagement Is announced of Phyllis Daphne, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. G. Parfltt, of Gordonton, and David Burt, youngest son of Mr and Mrs H. W. Cleland, also of Gordonton. All engagement notices for publication must be signed by both parties to tlie engagement.
