3 GATHERING AT ROTOTUNA. t s The annual meeting- of the Roto-tuna-Horsham Downs branch of the British and Foreign Bible Society was held this week in the Eototuna Church, Mrs T. H. Henderson presiding over a large attendance. Mrs Henderson welcomed Miss B. Henry, organising secretary, who outlined the work of the society, emphasising the influence of the Bible and the work of the colporteurs of other lands. For 193 G the output of scripture through the Wellington Bible House reached 31,053 copies. About 90 per cent, of the scriptures were sold at a loss to the society. The following ofllcers were reelected: President, Mrs T. H. Henderson; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Ward Chapman and A. J. Clements; secretary, Miss M. Thompson. The meeting closed with the Doxo- * logy and the Benediction.
