HUNTLY PROSECUTIONS. MANY DRIVERS FINED. (Special to Times.) HUNTLY, Thursday. Several breaches or the motor and traffic regulations were heard before Mr J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M.. In the Huntly Magistrate’s Court to-day. For driving a motor-car In Raynor's Tload. Huntly, without a driver's license. Jack Arlion was convicted and fined £1 10s and costs 16s. David Graham, of Onehunga, who was charged with driving a motor van on the Bakanmanga Hangiriri main road without a proper mirror was convicted and fined £1 and costs I 5«. Charged with failing to signal his Intention to stop hn was fined £l and 12s costs. Joseph Twist, of Renown. was charged with driving a motorcar on the I’ukekapla-Walkokowal main road and negligently causing damage to tin* value of £2 I Js 2d to a telegraph pole, the property of the Post and Telegraph Department. The ease wus dismissed. Mr Robert Melralfe. trallle Inspector, proceeded against Robert Thomas Hill, of Tauplrt, for using a trailer on the Auckland HamUum highway without a license. He was convicted and ordered to pay 12s. Herbert Thorpe, of Pukemlro, was charged with carrying on a passenger service between Pukemlro and the Pukemlro mine* otherwise than pursuant to the authority and in conformity with the terms of a passenger license. He was convicted and fined £1 10s and costs 12s. William Thomas Rond, Huntly, charged with operating a heavy motor vehicle on the Huntly-Hotowaro road with an excessive load, was fined £1 and costs 10?. Albert William Boyle or Huntly, was fined £1 and costs 12s on a similar charge. Madge Prince, of Klhi Klhl, was charged with driving a motor vehicle on the Great South Road at a dangerous speed anil was fined £2 and costs £l. On a charge of not holding a driver's license she was fined £2 and costs 12s.
