PALESTINE POLICY.
MANDATES COMMISSION. REPORT ON BRITISH PROPOSAL. RECOGNITION OF DIFFICULTIES. (omctal Wireless.) RUGBY, August 18. The League mandates commission has adopted a report on the British Palestine proposals for submission to tlie League council. The tlrst part of the report reviews the administration in Palestine in 1935-30, the second deals with the petitions received by tlie Commission, and tlie third sets out tlie advantages and disadvantages of I lie different proposed schemes for the future of Palestine. After expressing appreciation of the difficult position in which the Palestine administration lias been placed, tincommission is understood to have suggested some variation of the Britisii scheme, but it is anticipated the report will express no deliuitc opinion till I lie future of Palestine. The report will not be published until September, when it will be in the bands of members of the League council
