Mr Stanley Becklngsale has been appointed actuary for tlie National Provident Fund, according to a notice in the Gazette. The Rev. E. O. Blamires has been reappointed secretary for a further term of three years of the Dominion Council of tlie Bible-in-Schools League. Messrs W. Price, H. Cowan, W. Leicester, J. Madan, 11. Brown (Wellington), Y. Berstrom (Auckland) and \Y. G. Coster Ilelensville), are at the Hotel Midland. Mr W. Marshall, of Paeroa, was elected deputy-chairman of the directorate of tlie New Zealand Go-opera-tive Dairy Company at a meetting uf directors at the conclusion of the Annual meeting yesterday.
