REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES. BRANCH ANNUAL MEETINGS. There was a large and ropresrntnlivc attendance at the Ngnrunwahta Branch annual meeting of iho British and Foreign Bible. SooicTy held in the Melliodlst Church. The, Rev. W. ,T. Hughes presided and commented favourably upon the work of the branch last year. After an address upon the •society’s , aclivilics. Miss R. Henry, organising secretary, concluded by quoting Yisi count Rledisloe’s remarks: “ Tho i world history or tho last. 300 years I has amply demonstrated that, the most potent force In the pacification of nations and tho development of a sense of security, is based upon that gem , °f sublime literature, the Bible, with which it Is Iho aim of tills society to endow and equip mankind throughout the world." Miss Henry voiced tho appreciation of the society to all those who had helped forward tho work, and presented a 'bouquet to Airs Fergusson In acknowledgement of her long interest in its activities.
