ROTORUA CHAMPIONSHIPS. DRAW FOR EARLY ROUND. (Special to Times). ROTORUA, Friday. Tlie course is expected to be In good order for the opening of the annual open championship tourney of the Rotorua Golf Club on Tuesday. Since the closing of entries IL E. Troutheek (Napier), R. -S. Alford (Cambridge) and \V. E. Knight (Dnnnevirke) have withdrawn from the tournament, and their places have been taken toy J. L. Blundell : (Rotorua), handicap 9, J. Kenny (WaJhou), 10, and E. Fenton (Rotorua), 11. The first of the two qualifying rounds will be played on Tuesday morning. The best 32 aggregate gross scores will qualify for championship play nnd Ihe following 32 for the Thermal Cup series, w'hioli is decided on handicap.
