The accounts of the Dunlop-Perdrlau Rubber Company, Limited, Melbourne, for the year ended June 30 show the best net profits since 1928-29, earnings amounting tu £409,701. The directors are recommending a flnul dividend of 4 per cent., making 7 per cent, for the year. The previous year’s ordinary dividend was 5 per cent.* The full year’s distribution on I ordinary capital absorbs £203,510, while 10 per cent, on preference capital requires £93,000. Earnings in 1935-30 were £305,080. the best result since 1930. In addition to tin* payment of 10 per cent on preference shares and 5 per cent, on ordinary capita), the directors, last year, I placed £50,n00 to reserve, increasing It to £150.000.
