After making adequate provision for repairs and maintenance, depreciation, a an( | all other contingencies, including income tax of £7600 on the current year’s profits, also rebates to suppliers and factories amounting to £6BOO, the net profit amounted to £10.068. which sum has been added to the balance brought forward from the previous year, and leaves now a credit balance of £22,303 to be carried forward. Therefore the total net profit, after providing for income lax and including rebates, amounted to £16,868. (Operation Interferences, Ho regretted to say that during the Year the colliery had experienced a great deal of interference in its operations.
