CABINET MEETS.
GUARANTEED PRICES. ANNOUNCEMENT SHORTLY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The Cabinet met to-day for the i first time since the return to New Zealand of the Minister of Finance and Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash. At tiie conclusion of the meeting the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J Savage, explained that Mr Nash had reported to Ministers on his mission abroad and the results of his negotiations for trade agreements with other countries. Another meeting of the Ministry was to he held to-mor-row, when it was hoped to fix the date for the opening of the coming session. In view of the fact that Mr Nash, as Minister of Marketing, had yet to examine the position regarding the current season's guaranteed prices for dairy produce, it was unlikely the Government would be able to make a pronouncement in this connection for i few days.
