The Hon- H. Semple, Minister of Public Works and Transport, will return to New Zealand by the Awatea, leaving Sydney on August ‘27 for Auckland. where she is due on Monday, August 30. Mr Semple is reported to be greatly improved in health. Mr. H. Coulter. M.P. for Waikato, is visiting Hamilton. Mr H. 11. Sterling, of Wellington, was in Hamilton to-day. Mr. 11. 0. Mellsop. Auckland provincial president ol' the Farmers' Union, is visiting Hamilton. Mr A. J. Murdoch, chairman of tlie Hairy Hoard, and Mr T. C. Brash, secretary, are in Hamilton. Messrs D. J. Law, S. 0. Baigent Timaru' and C. S. White Auckland; are at the Hamilton Hotel. The Kev. Father M. J. Blcaklev, of Hamilton, who has been visiting Australia, returned to Auckland vesteri day. Detective J.
