Supported by planes, tanks and heavy artillery, four Insurgent columns, Including the Italian Black Arrows Brigade and Moorish legions, are driving towards Santander. They captured twelve villages and 2000 prisoners In the Reinosa sector. The advance covers 300 square miles over difficult mountains. The insurgent casualties were heavy. The captain of the Spanish •steamer ‘ Conde de Aba-solo, upon arrival in : the British steamer Oily of Wellington with 23 of the crew, declared that an Italian destroyer torpedoed his ship off the island of i'antelleria, killing several of the crew. The tanker British Commodor® landed at Tunis the crew of 38 men from the tanker George W. McKnight (12,442 tons;.
