RAILWAY PORTER’S TRIAL. The re-trial, which was ordered at. I lie last session when the jury failed 10 agree, of George Osier Barnes :t 1 , railway porter, of Ongarue, was opened in the Supreme Gourt, Hamil- • mii, yesterday, before Mr Justice Cali.n and continued this morning. The ; risoncr is charged on two counts of unnatural offences and two counts of indecent assault. Mr 11. T. Gillies is appearing for the Grown, while the ease for the defence is being conducted by Mr 1G E. >,'. Matthews, of Auckland.
