FANCY DRESS DANCE. The Waitoa Hall was filled to eap- ! aclly recently, the occasion being a I fancy dress dance organised by the J School Committee In aid of school funds. The headmaster and teachers are to he congratulated on the training of the children, every item being very much enjoyed. inal boy, Bruce Blgwood (Chef) ; most original, Fay Hyde (Christmas Cracker) . Standards 1,2 and 3. —Best boys, Ross Fleming (Chip off the Old Block), and Gordon Fleming (Rabbit) ; best girl, Shirley Johnson (Mother Goose); most original, Eric Prince (Wedding Cake).
