SILVER WEDDING.

CELEBRATION AT TE AWAIVIUTU. The twenty-fifth anniversary of the wedding of Mr and Mrs H. Collins was celebrated at their residence. Rewi Street, Te Awamutu, recently, when Mrs Collins entertained a number of her friends. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent. On Saturday evening Mr Collins entertained his friends, when cards were much enjoyed. Mrs Collins served a delicious supper. Afterwards Mr H. A. Reed thanked the host and hostess for the delightful evening, congratulated Mr and Mrs Collins on reaching the twenty-fifth anniversary of their married life, and wished them continued health and happiness for many years to come. Mr Collins responded and thanked those present for their attendance. The singing of "For They Are Jolly Good Fellows” brought a pleasant occasion to a close.
