ROADINQ LOAN EXHAUSTED. FRAN KT ON-WH AT AW HAT A WORK. The work of reconstructing and sealing the Frankton-Whatawhata Road having exhausted the funds provided by the special loan raised by the Walpa County Council, It was decided, at the monthly meeting of the Walpa County Council yesterday, to apply to the Loans Board for authority to raise a further £750 so that the work might be completed. The chairman. Mr S. C. B. Macky, said that if the authority was obtained the council could, no doubt, obtain the money from tho Main Highways Board.
