This morning the searchers totalled 2 5 and an organised search com- . menced later. ANXIETY RELIEVED. MISSING CLIMBERS SIGHTED. ALL BELIEVED TO BE WELL (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Fears for the safety of the six young men members of the Canterbury Mountaineering Club, which were held when it was learned that they had not returned to Arthur's Pass last night after having set out in the early morning on the projected traverse from Phipp’s Peak to Mount Temple, were removed when it was reported to-day that they had been found. The members of the party were Messrs. K. Gillett, I. Lawrence, R. Murchison, J. Clegg. J. Ollivier, and G. Mandeno, of Christchurch. They set out from the Pass at 5 a.m. intending to make the traverse from Phipp’s peak to Mount Temple and were seen yesterday at noon on the summit of Phipp’s Peak. Search parties set out to-day and reported at noon that they sighted the missing men on Temple Col. It Is hoped to bring tlie party into Arthur’s Pass by three o’clock. All are believed te be well despite a bitterly cold night.
