Tt Is anticipated that the new Colonial Empire Marketing Board will consist of about fifteen members, including representative members ol Parliament and business men with experience in marketing colonial produce The Colonial Secretary will presidt over the board. The House of Commons has already •voted £IO,OOO for expenditure by the board, which, when in full operation Is likely to require about £52,001 annually. It is expected that the board will carry out a number of systematic investigations into colonial marketing methods. It is estimated that the total vatu* of the produce exported from the colonies last year, for which figure.* are available, was in the lioighbourhooi of £210,000,000.
