STOCK SALE. RATES AT OHAUPO Messrs Dalgety and Company. Ltd., •eport having held their fortnightly stock sale at Ohaupo on Friday, where a medium yarding of cattle came forward. and all classes sold under keen competition. A good clearance resulted at late market rates. No heavy fat cows were yarded. Light to nedium fat Shorthorn and Holstein sows made £7 13d to £8 3s, medium fat Jersey cows, good £7 10s to £8 3s, light fat' heifers, Jersey and Shortlorn, £6 15s to £7 13s. unfinished E 5 5s to £6 ss, boners £2 10s to £4 10s, according to weight and condition, store cows £4 2s 6d to £5 ss. Dairies: Medium quality Holstein and Jersey cross heifers £8 12s Gd to £0 2s fid, calved £9 10s, small Jersey heifers dose to profit £7 to £B, backward heifers, Jersey and Jersey-cross £7 10s, good young Jersey cows, salved £lO 15s, end of August calvers •8 10s to £9 12s, more backward foung Jersey and Jersey-cross cows £7 10s to £7 17s 6d, older cows £3 to £fi 10s. POULTRY, BUTTER AND EGOS. THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. AUCKLAND, Saturday. At the city markets the supply of poultry was medium and competition vas fair, although prices were slightly ower all round.
