SHOPKEEPER CONVICTED. . “ MUST PROTECT PUBLIC.” For selling mflk which failed on test to come up to the required standard for freshness, -Mrs. E. G. Shannon (Mr. P. H. Witness submitted the report of the analysis. To Mr. Walls, witness said that no Impropriety, other than the failure of the milk lo meet the standard, was suggested against defendant. What he had got was probably the previous morning’s milk. Defendant had gone ' to special trouble and 'expense in Installing a modern refrigerator in her shop, said Mr. Watts. The magistrate suggested that (he retailer might protect herself by some form of guarantee from the milk vendor.
