OBITUARY.
LORD RUNCIMAN. VARIED, ADVENTUROUS LIFE. (Official Wireless.* (Received Aug. J i, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY. Aug. 13. The death is announced of Lord Runcinum, father of Viscount Runciman, aged 90 years. Lord Runeiman had n varied and adventurous life. When 12 years of age lie ran away from home to go fo sea. At 20 lie was a male, and at 2 i had secured a .Master's certificate. At the age of 38 lie became a shipowner, and a few years later lie was the biggest shipowner on the Tyne and had become one -Largest owners in Britain
