The actresses have been having so many accidents that many companies are continually minus their leading ladies. When a car has stood unused for ' a considerable time it is advisable to remove the spark plugs and pour about a tablespoon of light lubricating oil into each cylinder before starting. This will assist in lubricating the ' cylinder walls until oil reaches them from the crankcase. Mist drivers are familiar with the annoyance caused by the lights of a following car shining on the driving mirror, the resultant dazzle frequently tempting them to put the mirror out of adjustment. Mirrors with antidazzle glass are now obtainable In England, but in some cases these have not the brilliancy of an ordinary mirror. A British Arm has solved the problem !by •marketing a two-sdded mirror which has anti-dazzle glass on one side for night, driving and silvered glass on the other for daylight motoring.
