Gay Gardens.

GOLDEN AND BLUE. Golden are the daffodils a-noddlng In the breeze And golden Is the blossom upon the wattle trees. Golden are tho jonquils which bloom about my way And golden are the sunbeams on a shining summer’s day. Deep 'blue are tho violets beneath the leaves so shy And blue are the delphiniums I see as I pass by. Velvet are the pansies so soft and blue and gay. And softest blue the heavens on a clear and blithesome day.
