HUNT AT PUTARURU.
NEED FOR CAUTION.
WAIKATO HOUNDS MEET. (Special to Times.) PUTARURU, Thursday. The fourth and final meet of the Waikato Hunt to be held in the Putaruru ward this season was attended by & field of about 30 riders and during an excellent day’s hunting over the property of Messrs. Chambers Brothers, Matanuku Downs, Tokoroa, three kills were registered. The Master ot the Hunt, Mr. Wynn Brown, was mounted on Beckford and Mr. Ned Brown, the Whip, was on Alntree.

I Lee, however, felt that little could come at present out or such a conference unless the Minister was prepared to disclose his proposals as to me future or the counties south or Wnipa. He has stated it Is not wholly concerned with the lessening of costs. Economy apparently Is not the only factor being considered." r Mr J. .V noddle agreed that much caro should be exercised. "IT we get Into the ihands of the Public Works Department as we seem to be heading. I doubt If wo will find administrative costs as low as at present.” ho said.
