WELLINGTON, Thursday. , Particulars of areas upon which it is proposed to begin operations under the Government’s scheme for developing reverted Crown securities were 1 given in an interview by the Minister ' of Lands, the Hon. F. Langstone. £ The blocks are as follows: —Eleven thousand acres of Crown Land known as Pouarua Block lying to the south of Waitakaruru and west of the settled lands on the western bank of the Pla&o River. The Edgecumbe Block of 3000 ( acres; Tarawera No. 2 of 800 acres j and Tarawera No. 3 of 400 acres, situated Just off the Rangltaikt Plains; the Orini Block of 400 acres in the same locality; the Raetihi Block of 1500 acres; and areas of from 200 to i 1500 acres aggregating 9,400 acres In t the King Country within a radius of ’ say 30 miles from Te Kuitl. 1
