Five people were shot dead and one fatally wounded at Glasgow. Uplndarl Biswas, an Egyptian dental student, visited the home of his father-in-law and flred a shot, critically wounding his wife, whom he met on the doorstep. She died later. He shot dead a taxi-driver who pursued him. Biswas then shot dead hia father-in-law, Mr J. GrantMiller, a dentist, his alster-ln-law aged 14 years, and hia daughter, aged 16 months. • •He then committed suicide.
