The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThnmes Valley is as follows: Forecast: Light to moderate variable winds, with north - easterlies prevailing. Weather fair to cloudy and mild. S?as slight to moder- I ate. General Inference: The anti-cyclone which has been covering the Dominion during the past few days is now centred to the eastward, while a -shallow area of relatively low pressure is moving on to the southern portion of the South Island. Pressure is high over the whole of the Australian and New Zealand areas.
